When you have a degree from Harvard in accounting and finance, you would think that one of the easiest things for you would be to get a job on Wall Street. Yes, but no.

For Daniel Sack, 29 years old co-founder and CEO of AppDirect things stoyap otherwise. He graduated from Harvard in 2009 godinat, but all attempts to joining Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley ended in failure. "Things did not look good. My employment experience at the time was unpaid summer internship is a small company in San Francisco ... I had no experience, "says Daniel. This was due mainly to the crisis and the lack of vacancies in the majority of companies.

After a year in thoughts and despair, however, he and his friend Nicolas Desmaris who leaves from Bain & Co. decided to create, AppDirect, which is actually very similar to Google Play, but only based on business applications. Currently the company is estimated at nearly $ 600 million since the beginning of 2014 until now, she notes  a double of value.

"AppDirect opened a new market for software vendors, helping small businesses to find software and use it well," said one of the investors in the company, Peter Thiel, who last month invested an additional 50 million in AppDirect. According to Daniel Sack, AppDirect will continue to double in size in both revenue and employees in the foreseeable future. It now has offices in San Francisco, Munich, London, Montreal.
