There’s good news for the world’s advanced economies. The International Monetary Fund lifted its growth forecasts for all but the U.K. and Spain, and boosted the outlook for the global economy to 3.6 percent from 3.5 percent in July. Despite the brighter outlook, the Washington-based lender warned against complacency: "A closer look suggests that the global recovery may not be sustainable -- not all countries are participating, inflation often remains below target with weak wage growth" IMF chief economist Maurice Obstfeld said.
