The largest ETF invested in Europe recorded the largest cash outflow for the past two years
The uncertainty surrounding Italian politics and the possibility of an aggressive (hawkish) European Central Bank reflected in the exit from the largest ETF, invested in European equities. Investors pulled $ 231 million from Vanguard FTSE Europe ETF on Monday, the highest figure since the Brexit referendum two years ago, after pulling $ 317 million from the fund over the previous two days. Outgoing cash flows from Europe also strengthened the rotation to US stocks.
