Asian markets failed to escape the red territory in their last session of the week. Investors remained hesitant and took a cautious approach, expecting more clues and developments between the US and China and Brexit.
In the land of the rising sun, the Nikkei 225 wiped off earlier gains and fell 0.07% while Topix remained flat.
In South Korea, Kospi is down 0.1%. However, the shares of the board manufacturer SK Hynix jumped 2.63%. Samsung Electronics rose 0.2%. PCB manufacturers are still experiencing serious difficulties in a low and cost and demand environment due to the trade war.
In Australia, the ASX200, in contrast to other exchanges, rose 0.54%, with most sectors profiting. In Hong Kong, Hang Seng dropped 0.45%.
In the main Chinese indices, Shanghai Composite fell 0.49%, Shenzhen Composite 0.12% and Shenzhen Component fell 0.13%.
