Foreign funds are becoming more and more optimistic about Asian equities from emerging markets and less and less with bonds from countries in the region. This is because of the downturn between the US and China around trade talks, especially after recent events, and South Korea is currently experiencing a hitherto unseen outflow of government debt and pouring cash into the stock. This interrupts the trend in 2018, when investors sought the safety of fixed income assets and stayed away from risky assets.
