As long as sell off continues, we are already seeing technical configurations that threaten the bullish trend in US stocks. Head-to-head configuration at the S & P500 and Dow Jones start to shock market participants, with prices approaching 200-times average. However, with NASDAQ, we are beginning to observe wedge formation. If the price would withstand the 200-year period, the index would knock it up, turning a wedge into bullish and panic to rebound. With this negative foundation, however, the configuration can very quickly turn into the sword, shaking a head with shoulders at the technology index.
