Jamie Dimon, Chief Executive Officer of JP Morgan Chase & Co, issued a statement Thursday on new changes to US tax law.
Dimon said that "if we are serious about the growth of the economy, the creation of new jobs and the significant increase in wages of all US citizens, this country needs a serious modernization of the tax code."
Significant progress towards these goals is being highlighted by all members of the congress, with the administration doing its best to introduce changes as early as possible. "I think completing the tax reform will improve the economic security of all Americans and give huge opportunities to US companies to compete successfully on the global market."
"Why is it so strong behind this reform? It's just - it will give a sip of air to US citizens and a huge advantage for US companies and hence a stronger economy."
