Japan’s gross domestic product data tomorrow is likely to show the economy growing for five straight quarters as strong exports make up for weak domestic demand.
Forecasts compiled by Bloomberg show the economy grew1.7 percent in the three months through March, on an annualized basis, from the previous quarter.
Net exports, or shipments less imports, to add 0.1 percentage point to growth, after contributing 0.2 percentage point and 0.4 percentage point in the previous quarters.
