Jeff Miller is president of New Arc Investments and financial blogger at A Dash of Insight. He predicted for Dow Jones to increase to to 20,000 in 2010 in a post on his blog when the price was 10,000 and almost all analysts anticipated the price to drop with 50%.
He now predicts a rapid rise by 10 to 20 percent for Dow Jones Industrial Average in the near future. Then the price index will depend on whether the normal growth of corporate earnings and whether the global economy away from a possible recession, according to Miller. He also thinks that the DJIA will need 10 more years to reach 40 000.
