It will be several years before the effect of Blockchain technology is felt tangibly but will certainly contribute to the development of certain sectors despite the lack of life in digital assets.
"Blockchain will not rediscover the global payment system, but will provide significant improvements." - says Joyce Chang chief analyst at JPMorgan. "The most significant improvements that will occur over the next three to five years will be in the field of trade and finance."
Improvements in this area are more frequent than others because of its strong potential in digitization efficiency. CryptoLooks have really attracted a lot of interest, but the underlying technology used to record and confirm transactions is immense.
However, Blockchain technology faces several major challenges, the main ones being: the scale of technology, integration, profitability and regulation.
