North and South Korea will hold their first summit for more than a decade on April 27,
At first glance, the markets do not care about Kim, but weak geopolitical tensions will be in favor of capital markets.
North and South Korea considerably alleviated tension after the Winter Olympics in February. Technically, the two countries are at war after the 1950-53 conflict ended with a ceasefire, not with a ceasefire.
Kim also intends to meet US President Donald Trum in May to discuss the country's denuclearization.
Earlier this week, Kim met with Chinese President Xi Jinping on a surprise visit to Beijing, the first since he came to power in 2011.
