The police in New York arrested the person who will inhered Fiat - Lano Elkan and charged him with faking his own kidnapping. The information is from the Daily Beast and its sources from the Police Station there. As per the information the 39-years old Elkan, son of one of the biggest stakeholders in Fiat, in the past called Gianni Agnelli was arrested at the point when he was taking his ransom funds ($10,000), for his own kidnapping. The police found that earlier Elkan and friend of his have organized a party with large douse of drugs and alcohol. Both partied for several days but at the end their money finished. Then he decided to lie to his parents and told them that he was kidnapped by a woman, who would kill him if she did not receive a ransom of $10,000. His siblings took the money at the place to exchange but before that they called the police. The ambush worked and police arrested both Lano and his friend after they received the funds. Later both were released but they are expected to appear in Court where charges will be filed.
