Markets in Asian to open a bit lower today, the first day after the Holidays. The markets in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong will be closed also today.
We expect news from Japan and if they are better than expected, this could give strength to the JPY. The correction of all of the Yen pairs is in force and it may continue. If data is worst than expected, then we can expect negative sentiment toward the Japanese currency.
The low liquidity is to play a role in the moves in the indices and currencies not only today but during the entire coming week. Most of the investors are not trading actively.
Nikkei will open slightly lower than the close on Friday around 19,360
