The Asian markets are expected to open lower, after the US session closed down with all 3 indices lost slightly. If there is a correction here, possibly will be short and small.
The US dollar is trading higher again, supported by the increasing chances of rate hikes as early as March for now at least. The pair USD/JPY is the base gauge of the strength of the dollar, which reached 114,500, but there is still the possibility that we may see a stronger JPY again, which will be more noticeable towards the other JPY pairs. Gold traded lower down to $1235, as the USD got stronger and the price of Crude Oil fell down to $52.40, but we might see higher prices again.
Investors were optimistic after the speech from President Trump in front of the Senate and for now the bullish view is in tact, but there is the possibility that we might see a small and short correction of the indices here.
Nikkei will open slightly lower around 19,550, ASX 200 is trading lower around 5,750
