May is back, but new challenges are ahead

Theresa May has begun her battle for survival to complete her coveted assignment and get Britain out of the European Union - but for now her hopes rely on her greatest enemy.

May's team believes that the only realistic chance for Brexit to happen would be if only opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn decides to stand on the side of the Prime Minister.

Unlike May, however, Corbyn is not in a hurry with Brexit. If a deal can not be reached before the European Parliament elections scheduled for May 23, ministers fear May may be "out of the game." She again meets the calls for resignation from activists in the Conservatives' party.

Britain had to come out on March 29, but Divorce was postponed twice after parliament refused to accept Theresa May's agreement several times. The state is due to leave the Union on October 31, which increases political uncertainty and burdens on business leaders. The talks between Labor and Conservatives are expected to continue this week as parliament resumes work after the Catholic Easter.

According to May's allies, the key issue for resolving will still be calling for a compromise around the customs union, although it believes that staying under the European tariff regime will be a bad option. May is determined to see a final divorce.
