Asian markets pointed for mixed open on Tuesday as the dollar firmed overnight on better than expected U.S. economic data, with the RBA's interest rate decision due later in the trading session.
Futures pointed to a higher open for Japanese equities. Nikkei 225 is up 0.62 percent at 20,175. Meanwhile, Australian shares are set to open lower, with SPI futures down by 0.25 percent at 5,670, compared with the ASX 200's last close of 5,684
