The yesterday's forecast that the oil market would be the most volatile was met, with black gold sinking 4% on strong US stocks. This of course also had a negative effect on the energy stocks that weighed on Wall Street's profits during the session.

For today, traders will focus their attention elsewhere. Fiverr will make its debut, and it will be interesting to see if they will also be trapped by other losers - primary public offerings such as Uber and Pinterest.

1. The initial claims of the unemployed are expected to decrease

The Ministry of Labor publishes its weekly number of people applying for unemployment insurance for the week ending June 8. Economists predict that initial unemployment claims will cut to 215,000 from 218,000

The latest update of US labor markets comes less than a week after the Labor Department reported that the US economy has created far fewer jobs than expected last month, prompting the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates on his July meeting.

2. IPO of Fiverr

FIverr will test the appetite of investors. The company, whose business offer is based on linking freelancers with customers, plans to issue 5.300,000 shares at $ 18.00- $ 20.00 per share, expecting to raise $ 101 million in the initial public offering on Thursday. Shares should be traded on Friday with the FVRR ticker. The net loss of the company rose from $ 19.3 million in 2017 to $ 36.1 million in 2018, while revenue grew by nearly 45 percent, from $ 52.1 million to $ 75.5 million.

Rival Upwork, which became public in October, lost control of investors, ending the day with a 3.7% loss, dropping below its IPO of $ 15

3. Broadcom's report

Broadcom will report its results for fiscal second quarter after the end of the session today.

The chip maker is expected to report a profit of $ 5.21 per share on revenue of $ 5.69 billion, compared with $ 4.88. per share and revenue of $ 5.02 billion a year ago. Shares are up 10% up this year.

Following the increase in US-China trade tensions, the previous chips manufacturer's recovery guidelines for wireless business in the second half of the year are likely to be under control.

The US and China have imposed tariffs on each other after Broadcom reported its profits and guidance for the first quarter of March.
