Investments in ETFs set a record last year. And BlackRock (BLK) recently reported in its inaugural ETF Pulse Survey that 52% of U.S. investors plan to buy an ETF this year. Meanwhile, 94% of the U.S. financial managers polled plan to buy ETFs for their clients.
One in four U.S. investors already use ETFs in their portfolios, and they tend to be younger investors.
BlackRock is the one of the worlds's largest asset management companies with $5.15 trillion in assets under management and one of the biggest issuers of ETFs. Its iShares business recently pushed through a major milestone, with $1 trillion in assets under management.
