The combined capitalization of Nasdaq’s five most-valuable companies -- Apple, Google owner Alphabet Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Facebook Inc. and Microsoft Corp. -- is nearing $3 trillion, after rising 24 percent this year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
