The streaming platform Netflix stated for the first time a drop in subscribers for US in eight years and confirmed that has missed the target for users outside the US.
The company's activities declined by close to 12% during the US Aftermarket Session. The reason for this is the record differences between expectations and reality. Between May and June Netflix loses more than 130,000 Americans on the US market while expecting to add just over 350,000.
In addition to the negative picture, subscribers outside the United States increased by only 2.83m, significantly below the expectations of 4.8m.
Pidead Xactift - Netflix CEO advised that he expects the new users for 2019 to grow. At the moment the company has 151,6 million around the world.
Income for the company have risen by 4,92 bln of 3,91 bln.
