Pacific Investment Management Co. (PIMCO) invited former chairman of the Fed (2006 to 2014) Ben Bernanke as general counsel.
Last week, Bernanke has already been announced as a consultant to the hedge fund Citadel. According to Reuters, Bernanke said that the two companies being only external advisor ICE does not intend to advise other companies. Also, it does not engage in lobbying in any form or direction - the Fed, nor to Congress.
Curiously, his predecessor at the Fed was Alan Grinspayn Same consultant to PIMCO from 2007 to 2011. The main asset of the company is "Pimco Total Return Fund" entirely based on bonds. PIMCO Funds are one of the biggest investors in the global bond market and manage about 2 trillion USD. The company itself, in turn, is owned by the German corporation ALLIANZ.
