Wall Street scored another day on record, with the Dow Jones industrial average indexing its 41st record closing level for the year, rising 40 points thanks to the shares of Verizon and Goldman Sachs.
The S&P500 added 0.1%, and also recorded a record as the telecom and finance sectors advanced.
It is not expected to raise interest rates in the United States after the Fed meeting, but many market participants believe that the central bank will begin declining its $4.5 trillion balance.
On the other hand, on its first speech to the UN, Trump has made serious accusations against North Korea and its trade allies, such as China and Russia, and has assured that it is ready to counteract any Rocket Man, the North Korean leader.
We expect positivism from the US markets to shift to the Asian exchanges. As of now, most Asian index futures are on the rise, with only Nikkei 225 down 20 points. ASX 200 is expected to open at 5721 levels by 8 points higher. The Hang Seng index will start trading at 28,054 or 3 percentage points higher. South Korean Kospi will start 2 points up at a price of 2418.
During the Asian session we expect New Zealand data on the current account of the country at 01:45, and later at 2:50 pm, Japan will announce the level of imports and exports, along with the trade balance.
