Probability of worse than expected CPI data from UK at 11:30

At 11:30 we expect UK CPI data as the forecast is 2.3%.

The trend in the data is downward and we have a short-term series of higher values.

However, we must be cautious about the data today. CPI does not include the cost of ownership of the housing and taxes, which is measured by OOH / owner occupiers' housing costs /. This information is contained in CPIH index, which measures but not reflected by the National Statistical Agency of the United Kingdom. The graph alert for a possible new series of negative data, which can lead to serious tension over GBP.

The value of CPIH is at record highs since 2013 and prepares us for possible reversal of short-term dependence for better CPI data.
