Temporary hired civil servants who will participate in the US census - United States Census Bureau's 2020 would give a strong boost to NFP data for April.
Morgan Stanley economist Ellen Zentner recalled how, in April 2009, the primary growth in NFP data is precisely those temporary workers:
"We expect temporary employees for the 2020 census to leave their mark on the NFP," Ellen Zentner said, adding that the timing could be different this year and see a slowdown in the increase in temporary staff.
Referring to historical data, the biggest boom in employment will be next year. April 2010 data show 66,000 Temporary Agents from U.S. Census Bureau's 2010, and data jumped to 410,000 in May and dropped to 225,000 in June.
Jim O`Sullivan (High Frequency Economics) predicts an April 20,000 government revenue growth: "I think the US Census Bureau's 2020 should be excluded from fundamental forecasts," O'Sullivan said in a report Wednesday.
The average estimate of economists is to increase jobs in April is 190,000.
