President of the Fed-Boston Eric Rosengren said that strong economic data coupled with emerging signs of risk-taking by some investors make it suitable for the central bank to consider raising interest rates next month.

Rosengren said unemployment, which fell to 5% in October from 5.1 percent, was close to his own assessment of long-term unemployment rate, at 4.8 percent.
"Clearly, we have seen a steady improvement in the labor market." He said.
