Expectations before the start of trading this week are rather negative for risky currencies and positive for the Japanese yen, after earlier this week it became clear that North Korea again attempted to launch a ballistic missile. These news will have positively affect on Japanese yen and, most likely, after the day of work tomorrow, May 1, we will see negative sentiment in the stock market.
On Saturday, it became clear that Brexit would be, and it will be in March 2019, whether with or without a free trade deal. On side of the UK, Teresa May expects that leaving the union will not be bad for the island's economy, but on the side of the EU, most of the country's leaders are opposed to giving UK privileges after the actual departure. They believe that if Britain gets good trade agreements after leaving the EU, it will also encourage other members to leave the union. This could lead to a fall in the British pound in the short term.
