Small-cap stocks globally are continuing to beat their larger counterparts, a positive sign for bullish equity investors.
The relative performance of the MSCI AC World Small Cap Index reached a record high this month over the equivalent large-cap gauge, according to data compiled by Bloomberg back to 1995.
Small-cap outperformance is considered a “heartwarming signal for bulls,” as they are more influenced by economic ebbs and flows, said Jason Goepfert, president of Sundial Capital Research Inc.
