Morgan Stanley sees 3 rate hikes now for 2017 and 4 for 2018. If this happens then at the end of 2018 the rate will be between 2.25% to 2.50%. The derivatives market is taking a notice.
All FED members are now more optimistic and more confident. Many time in the past FED has been seen as to delay the raise due to slow growth of the Global Economies, but this time it might be different. If we take a look at the Purchasing Managers indices, it shows that some economies do go up together.
The USD started going up again, supported by the increasing chances of a first rate hike as soon as this month in March.
