“Investors have completely written off corporate tax reform” from President Donald Trump and Congress, Jack Ablin, chief investment officer at BMO Wealth Management, wrote in a Twitter posting on Friday. Ablin cited a chart showing smaller U.S. companies have given back all of their post-election gains relative to larger peers. The ratio between the S&P SmallCap 600 and S&P 500 indexes, which climbed as much as 12 percent in the first month after Trump won the presidency, fell below its Election Day level last week for the first time.
