“We are still in the very early innings of a shift that favors the rest of world over the U.S.” in stocks, Jonathan Krinsky, MKM Partners LLC’s chief market technician, wrote Sunday in a report.
The ratio between the Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-U.S. exchange traded fund and the SPDR S&P 500 ETF rose 6.3 percent through Monday from a record low, set in December, after tumbling 52 percent from a peak in October 2010.
Stocks outside the U.S. have more room to rally after trailing for seven straight years, Krinsky wrote.
