Tension Escalates - Saudi Arabia puts down a ballistic missile over Riyadh

Saudi Arabia said she had intercepted and dropped a ballistic missile over Riyadh along with two unmanned drones in another part of the country late on Wednesday in the latest attacks on pro-Iranian Yemeni rebels.

According to witnesses, strong explosions have been heard over the sky in Riyadh. Saudi-Arabia's coalition said it had removed a third dronad aimed at an airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia.

The missiles were fired only a few hours after Trump confirmed his intentions to attack Syria.

Markets remain confused.
