Tesla said on Monday they had immediately sent a team to investigate the apparent explosion of one of their cars, which happened in Shanghai.
There are currently no known casualties. Tesla also said they are in active communication and cooperation with the relevant institutions for the situation.
It was not clear which Tesla model was affected, but the reports showed that the car was parked during the fire.
