A day after surpassing Ford for market cap, Tesla became the market leader in the industry of USA by beating General Motors (GM) and became the most expensive car company in the States.
During the trading on the New York Stock Exchange, companies shares rose with 1.24% to $302.22. With that Tesla's capitalization reached $52.81 bln.
Meanwhile, the GM shares declined to 34.37 USD, and the capitalization of the company declined to $49.74 bln.
That way, only 14 years after the creation of the company, Tesla became the most expensive company in the industry. Share's rally began in the beginning of the week, when the financial results for Q1 were released.
