The futures of the Asian indices indicate for lower opening, after the lower close of the American stocks. The third quarter financial results are starting to come out now and the first two companies Alcoa and Illumina had disappointed investors and the distribution of stocks started. Sumsung and its troubles with the "Note 7" phone also will weight on the Asian Markets.
The Energy commodities are trading up due to the speculations of lower levels of production of Oil but this did not help the indices, maybe the fall of the stocks could have been much bigger if the Oil prices have not been supported decisively. The stronger dollar is also negative for stocks, after the speculations for higher levels for the interest rate in the US and that is putting downward pressure on all indices. US will be the first Central Bank to rate interest rates globally.
ASX 200 is expected to open lower with 50 points around 5,445, Nikkei to open lower by 150 around 16,880. If the negative sentiment continue to be present, we can see lower price levels of the Asian Indices as well.
