The Asian markets ended trading in today's session mixedly, continuing the volatile mood of Wall Street.
Japan's Nikkei 225 climbed about 0.66% up, and Topix dropped 0.59%.
In China Hang Seng Index rose 0.16%, while Shanghai Composite fell 0.25% and Shenzhen Composite fell by 0.395%.
In Australia ASX200 dropped 0.34%.
In South Korea, stocks rose as the leading index Kospi climbed 0.68%.
In the FX markets, the dollar traded at levels around 96.86 after falling from its peak at 97.10. The Japanese yen remained strong against the dollar and traded at levels around 112.27, while the Australian dollar rose to 0.7197 from 0.7180.
