Stocks on the Asian markets were mainly trading with declines after US futures suggested that Wall Street is expected to be another volatile session. This was the result of the announcement by Apple that they forecast weaker sales in China.
In South Korea, Kospi fell by nearly 0.2%. The Hang Seng Index surrendered earlier in the session and fell 0.51%. Shenzhen Composite fell by 0.3%, while the Shenzhen Component lost 0.29% of its value. The AX200 rose by more than 1.3%.
On the FOREX market, the dollar traded at around 96.51. The Japanese yen rose suddenly and strongly against the US dollar after investors preferred the yen as safe heaven. The yen traded at 107.17 levels after reaching a peak of 104.96
Meanwhile, the Australian dollar traded at levels around 0.6936 and went below 0.7. Something that had not happened since 2016
