The Brexit debate continues tonight

Politicians in Britain are yet to vote on the proposal to suspend the no-deal Brexit. Yesterday, parliament did not receive a majority after MP from the Boris Johnson Group resigned. If the vote is successful, the new ordinance will force Johnson to seek a new postponement of the UK's exit from the EU unless a deal is reached before 31 October.

Johnson, however, has a counter-plan and if he were to vote against him tonight, he would trigger early elections. The success of the rebels will also be a major blow to the government and threaten Johnson's re-election as prime minister.

Pro-Brexit's Boris Johnson believes that retaining the No-deal option at the table strengthens Britain's position in order to get what it wants from the EU - renegotiating the deal.

If the rebels succeed today, it will mean that the government will have to ask for a new postponement by 31 January 2020. EU leaders will have to agree to such a delay, and it will have to be further ratified by most Pro-EU lords. of the Chamber.

In the case of new elections, two-thirds of the parliament will have to agree to call them unless Johnson tries to pass a new bill to allow elections by a smaller majority, albeit unlikely .

According to a spokesman for the prime minister, he will aim for an election before October 17 so that the results are ready by then.
