America's economy is gaining momentum in the second quarter, expanding by 3.9% yoy in line with the latest data.
Economists expect that the US economy has slowed in Q3, as their forecasts are for growth of 1.6%. It is important to know that the first data are usually highly processed in the next two editions.

The number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits rose slightly to 259,000 last week from 256,000 in the previous week. Analysts have forecast 266,000 claims, indicating that the labor market remains strong.
