The global stock selloff that started in the U.S. yesterday is continuing in Europe and the cash market is as ugly as futures foretold. It's a classic risk-off move, with the Stoxx 600 down the most intraday since May 31.
Not much is getting spared -- almost all sectors and 80% of Stoxx 600 companies are in the red. Cyclicals such as autos and chemicals are among the worst hit even as EUR/USD posts the first decline in five days. A selloff in metals is also dragging down miners.
