One million people have signed The Independent's petition to let the British people say "the last word" on Brexit's question with a new referendum.

The petition reached its peak on Saturday afternoon, just three months after it was launched in view of the stalled talks with Brussels and the growing risk of not having a Brexit deal or of a non-public approval and support.

Teresa May refused to officially hold such a referendum, but it seems that the people take things in their own hands to express their will. This is because of declining chances, May, find the right approach to parliament and convince them of approval, as well as its political will and motivation as a prime minister to defend the interests of the UK.

It has reached a critical point in public opinion and in the mood of the masses, and it seems that no matter what the vote of the people of the United Kingdom in 2016, no one has voted for this chaos that has occurred.

Achieving this disagreement is due to the inability to resolve the issue with Northern Ireland. Conservatives do not support May's willingness to accept the conditions of the European Union for the opening of the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic. The deadline is constantly prolonging and it seems we will not have a deal before Christmas. May confessed earlier this week that he believed the deal was 95% ready, but the issue with the Irish border continues to pose significant difficulties.

With the likelihood of the negotiations collapsing and there is no Brexit deal, many ministers believe that a new referendum will have to be created as the only option to form the final agreement.

Anna Soubry, the Conservative Minister, strongly supports The Independent's referendum, saying: "Brexit reality: chaos and no trade agreement is not what was promised to the voters, and that's why Finaly Say is a deal or not, and the option staying. "

Let's remind that the people of the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union with a vote of 51.89% YES and 48.11% NO in its June 2016 referendum. Then they triggered the parameters for Article 50 for leaving the EU, scheduled for March 29, 2019.
