The Asian markets will open higher today 16.09.2016, following the markets in Europe and USD.
The Australian ASX 200 is expected to open around 5282 with 43 points up. The Japan's Nikkei 225 with 70 points up at 16471.
Today during the Asian session we are expecting low liquidity as the Markets in China, Malaysia, South Korea and Taiwan will be closed today.
It is possible that as we get closer to the meetings of the FED and BOJ at 21 September 2016 will start to influence the markets and we might see profit taking and moves lower. Many traders are starting to sure up their positions in the pair USD/JPY, in anticipation of the Central Banks meetings.
Today the economic calendar is really poor as the only news is the RBNZ offshore Holdings from NZD at 06:00am, but this data will have very limited impact on the markets.
More stable Oil price is positive for the stocks, as it trades at around $43.60 per barrel.
