The start of the Asian session will be slightly positive, after the US indices closed up a bit. The futures of the Nikkei are positive. Nikkei to open up around 19,080 and the Australian АSX 200 will open around 5,640.
The data coming out is the monetary policy meeting minutes from The BoJ and we might see higher JPY and lower indices. Also expecting data from China, the manufacturing PMI and if data is better than expected this could support the AUD and NZD currencies, but it will be negative again for the USD.
Possible higher price in Oil during the Asian session and this will not only help the Asian markets but also the European indices later on during the day.
Investors are anticipating the most important news for the week and that is the Non-Farm Payrolls from the US. If the data is better than expected then the USD will be supported and we will see a much stronger dollar. The strength will be mostly shown by the way of USD/JPY and EUR/USD
