Since there was no speculation or extraordinary news during the Asian hours, it is logical for traders to focus on European markets to the moods and performance of their Asian competitors. A very strong session was held by insurance companies, so it would be a good bet that this sector in Europe will gain a rapid lead over the first hours of trading. Financial and technological names have pulled the US Indexes to new records, so I'm of the opinion that big names in Europe will also contribute to positive trade today.
Infineon Technologies AG is bidding for a strong week and as a leader in the semiconductor industry and chips I expect to be among the winners of today. If the traders keep their trust in the company's shares today, this week will end with the formation of an absorbing bar, which soon can bring fresh All Time High to long-term investors in the company.
From the statistics with the best-performing companies in the German index it is clear that in the last session were mostly banks, car makers and technology companies. Because of the Asian session sentiment and sentiment, I expect positive trade for banks and insurers, and tech companies and manufacturers will be backed up by good Chinese tariff news as well as eventual positive results from the PMI at 10:30am local time.
