There is a lack of details so far but it is reported that May is to insist to the EU that any solution to the Irish border issue must be UK-wide. As mentioned several times in the past, the key sticking point in Brexit talks remains that of the Irish border. They can agree on everything but ultimately without a viable solution to this, everything else doesn't matter.
Do be reminded that May is in Salzburg to discuss Brexit matters with European leaders. If informal talks aren't going to go well, then there is little hope for an actual deal to come when push comes to shove.
