With almost every measure, Richard Branson is at the top of the world. The multimillionaire launched her first business as a teenager. Until 20, he started a mail order business, and from 22 he ran a chain of stores. Since then, he has founded a number of companies and conglomerates including Virgin Records, Virgin Airlines, Virgin Express, Virgin Mobile, Virgin Hotels, Virgin Cruises and Virgin Galactic.

But not only his ability to create entrepreneurial success distinguishes him. Branson seems constantly set to "happy" mode. When he does not engage in any outdoor or extreme hobby, he spends time with his family and friends whom he really loves.

According to Branson, creating such a life is pretty simple: love the others, be grateful for everything you have, be good and be careful. Oh, and "Never say no, just keep going until you succeed."

So take some advice from the Master of Success and Happiness. Use these eight keys and build your own incredible life.

1. Do not measure the success of the money you are getting

Too often people measure their success with how much money they earn, but Branson assures us that if we entertain and focus on turning the world into a better place, the money will come.

In an article published on LinkedIn's website, Branson writes: "It's a common misconception that money is an indicator of success for any entrepreneur, and it is not and should not be.

No matter what you have achieved in life, you always have to feel that something else needs to be done. Success is a moving goal - to strive to continue to grow, but also to appreciate what you have at the moment.

2. Get out of social media and focus on face-to-face conversations

Like most of us, Branson loves technology but also sees its limits, especially when it comes to him and the ones he cares about. Nothing can replace the face-to-face conversation - and you should be willing to leave your devices aside, he says.

Branson tries to focus his attention on the person he is with. He works actively in listening and recording notes during meetings, leaving aside his cell phone and focusing attention on the family at dinner. It also encourages others to "disengage" from their technologies when they are in a social environment ... at least for a while.

"We can all be better present in our own lives, and I really believe that being at the moment is the key to happiness and success - and continued adhesion to the phone can have a major impact on your relationship," Branson writes.

3. Have fun with everything you do

If you do not have fun, you do this wrong. In everything you do, you need to find ways to enjoy and evaluate your life, says Branson. In other words, instead of working to live, you have to live to work - because the job is fun and interesting.

"Fun is one of the most important and unappreciated ingredients in every successful venture," Branson writes.

Branson said that when he no longer enjoys a project, it is time to move on. "If you do not have fun, then it's probably time to try something else," he says. So stop wasting time doing things you hate or horror because it will only suck the joy and happiness of your life.

4. Find a hobby that takes you out

A key key to happiness, says Branson, is finding hobbies that encourage you to spend more time outdoors. Being outside can help you deal with stress and anxiety and there is a way to recharge your batteries, he says, noting: "It's a great way to improve your mood and feel more controlled."

Walking, cycling and windsurfing are some of the ways Branson returns by connecting with nature, but you can also do something as simple as taking your dog for a walk or even spending time under the night sky.

5. Dream big

Branson writes: "Dream in the wholesale and you will have the opportunity to lead the world in an incredible adventure." Branson's success began with a courageous dream that looked out of his league. He is in his early 20s when Virgin Records starts and takes over the music industry.

Everybody told him he would not get, but he did not listen to him. There was no guarantee he would succeed, but his faith in the dream nurtured his motivation to keep moving.

6. Learn on your feet

Life has to be a great learning. We must always strive to expand our minds and increase our wisdom and knowledge. Branson never visited a university - in fact, he was leaving school early, but never stopped studying. He views life as a long university course and strives to learn at least one new thing every day.

According to Branson, if you see a great opportunity, look for it, even if it's not in an area where you know or specialize. Focus on learning by going and embrace the ability to create new connections. Press to make the most of the opportunities when they perform.

7. Don't be afraid and try new things

Branson was never afraid to say "yes" to new concepts, ideas and activities. This is a great reason why Virgin Group is already an empire of over 200 different companies. Branson did not confine himself to one area; he is branched and open to trying new things.

8. Make Happiness a Habit

Take the time to find some happiness every day at any moment if you can. Happiness is not the result of success, but happiness from within can help you become successful, according to Branson.
