US stocks started the promotion session after President Donald Trump reached an agreement with Democrats to raise the debt ceiling. The unexpected agreement between President and Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi suggests that a trump may be willing to compromise on some of his plans for spending next year.
Nevertheless, the indices show a decline, with the worst performing sector being financial services with -1.69%, followed by the industrial and construction sectors. The most profitable sectors in the first minutes of the session are those of utilities, followed by real estate and healthcare.
The expectations are positivism are getting weaker against the backdrop of Hurricane Irma who is approaching Florida and the growing tension between the United States and North Korea.
