After the higher prices of the US indices, that were influenced by the better than expected 4Q corporate earnings in the USA and we expect this positive momentum to be continued in Asian as well. The investors are cautions as the new President is in first day in office.
The price of Oil is under pressure due to the data that more rigs will be in operation and more production to be expected from shell oil, trading at $52.90. US dollar is trying to find a bottom but no clear sign of direction change just yet. All currency pairs with JPY were up today, helped by the raising of the indices.
Expecting CPI from Australia during the night and possibly higher volatility for the AUD and NZD.
Nikkei will open higher around 19,096, ASX 200 will open higher around 5,677
