The Asian session will start with slight upside, after the US indices closed higher as well. Nikkei is expected to open around 19,185, and the ASX 200 around 5,663. The futures of the US indices are trading lower now.
We are expecting data from Australia - AIG Manufacturing index and Trade balance and we might see stronger AUD if the data are better than expected. From Japan awaiting data for the Monetary base and Household confidence and we might see stronger JPY if data is better than expected.
FED did leave the rates unchanged at 0.75% and we will see how the investors in Asia will react to that news.
Besides that the USD is weaker, the Crude Oil is higher and that can help with higher prices of the indices.
