Jim Cramer said in the broadcast that there is a battle between billionaire investors Warren Buffett and Carl Icahn, after Buffett pounced on shares of Apple (APPL) and U.S. airlines.
After Carl Icahn sold his shares of Apple, it became clear that the company has problems with China, but Buffett does not believe this scenario. When Cramer asked for comment Icahn, the answer was that he believed mainland China is very strong for Apple.
Buffett quadrupled his stake at Apple's shares and those of airlines sevenfold, according to data for the last quarter of regulators on Tuesday. He revealed last month that strengthened its portfolio of Berkshire Hathaway after the election of Trump. In an interview he said that the value of the purchased shares after the elections amounted to 12 billion dollars.
Icahn, who is an adviser to Trump, increased its holdings in Herbalife (HLF) and Hertz Global Holdings (HTZ) in the fourth quarter and left the Voltari (VLTC).
