Billionaire investor and bitcoin bull Tim Draper commented that in 5 years only criminals will use fiat currencies as cryptos are spreading at a rapid pace at a global level.
Repeating his view that ordinary money will be ridiculing and completely disappearing within five years, Draper added his forecast by saying that only criminals would continue to use cash, as those with illegal activities using cryptos can easily be traced through blockchain. He said:
"Criminals will start using ordinary money, because they can already catch anyone using bitcoin."
Is bitcoin the answer to a cashless society
In August 2018, an agent of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) noted that it prefers people to continue using digital currencies because blockchains can easily recognize illegal practices.
During the interview, Draper also said that, according to him, the money in his bank is at a much higher risk than the ones in bitcoin. "My bank is constantly under hacker attacks," said Draper, adding that no one had hacked Bitcoin blockchain so far.
